Whole House Project: Transitional Georgian

The owner of this 1940’s Georgian style home in Toluca Lake likes a variety of design styles. When CBA was first retained into open up a kitchen to the family room and redesign a pool house, the preferred style was Transitional in the family room and kitchen, and contemporary in the pool house. Since then, the design team has done a “Hollywood” powder room, a traditional “Ocean” bathroom, a gym, laundry, and zen-inspired guest bathroom and bath, as well as a traditional library, and a beautiful transitional dining and living room, including a new staircase in the entry. At present, the CBA design team is re-desiging the master suite to include a huge walk-in closet.

In 2012, CBA will entirely change the front facade of the house by making this 1 1/2 story home into two stories, adding another guest bedroom and bathroom, as well as a larger gym and a second office.
